Hommage à Jean-Pierre Ghysels
La Galerie rendra hommage au grand sculpteur belge Jean-Pierre Ghysels, disparu cet été, le 23 juillet 2024. Colette Ghysels, sa femme, viendra sur le stand partager sa connaissance et sa vision intime du travail de l’artiste. Né à Uccle en 1932, Jean Pierre Ghysels est l'un des grands sculpteurs de l'abstraction lyrique belge, dont les oeuvres ont marqué le paysage artistique contemporain. Élève du célèbre sculpteur Ossip Zadkine, Jean-Pierre Ghysels a développé un langage artistique unique, caractérisé par des volumes harmonieux, des matériaux contrastés et sensuels dans une abstraction expressive.
