ABOUT

Galerie Raf Van Severen specialises in fine art from 1870 to 1970. For figurative art, the gallery focuses on paintings from the first half of the twentieth century, with an affinity for the Brabantian Fauvists and Expressionists of the late 1920s. Built on a strong passion and an unwavering commitment to quality, the gallery has established unique collections over the years. For the abstract collection, the gallery focuses on lyrical abstract art of the 1950s and 1960s, as well as abstract expressionism and geometric abstraction. In June 2018, a new gallery opened on the ‘Eilandje’ next to the Museum Aan de Stroom. This new step made it possible to give the abstract paintings the presentation they deserve.
