Maison Rapin - The 'Feather' cabinet by Serkan Cura

On the occasion of the 70th edition of BRAFA, Maison Rapin will present the "Feather" Cabinet created by the artist Serkan Cura in 2020.
Nearly 9,300 hours of work and a few twists and turns were required for Serkan Cura's feathered cabinet to take flight. Born from the imagination of the feather artist and his collaboration with Maison Rapin, this piece of furniture, entirely covered in rooster feathers (naturally shed during moulting), is a unique gem worthy of the most extravagant curiosity cabinets. The rooster feathers are washed, dried, and sorted by color before being assembled into the 7,500 fans that cover the cabinet. A true change of direction after working on haute couture dresses for Jean-Paul Gaultier and Victoria’s Secret fashion shows, this cabinet is a true challenge, one that Serkan loves to take on! Born in Antwerp, he grew up in Brussels...

TEMPLON - Solo show de François Rouan

Galerie Flak - Thematic exbition on Mumuye art from Nigeria
