Based in the Grand Sablon, a place renowned for its high-level art and antiques dealers, Francis Janssens van der Maelen, established in 1978, presents a beautiful collection of objects and artworks in silver made by artist-craftsmen renowned for their skill and vision. The gallery is internationally known for its selection of primarily French and Belgian silver and its selection of Art Deco and Art Nouveau pieces by Jean E. Puiforcat, Jean Têtard, Philippe Wolfers, Carl Fjerdingstad, Cardeilhac and Georg Jensen, inter alia. Francis Janssens van der Maelen's scope extends to several other fields including sculpture, furniture and ceramics. The gallery is open on appointment only.
