Gallery Sofie Van de Velde, located in two spaces in Antwerp, stands for entrepreneurship in art. By participating in several art fairs and organizing various exhibitions, the gallery focuses on representing artists in a strong international context. Moving away from a conventional competition-minded gallery model, Sofie Van de Velde’s philosophy is one of collaboration: of shared opportunities and networks. As a result of her experience, Sofie Van de Velde is able to create connection and uncover relationships between modern and contemporary artworks.
